Thank you again for all your work on the roof this spring and the interior patch ups for paint and dry wall. I just wanted to reiterate one more time what a superior job I think the roofers on the house. Noy only is it extremely well done but I have never seen two crews work so efficiently in my life! Their clean up at the end of each day was the best of any crew on any project, ever. Having spent six or seven years painting houses and putting up drywall my self, I know what some of the dynamics are like.
I briefly the head of the roofing company , who stopped by on Saturday morning to make sure all was well. He could not have been more proffessional and polite. What a great guy. Stick with him! “The team worked as a fine tuned machine...”
Although a letter of praise for a job well done is in order, I would rather express myself to other home owners who may find themselves in my situation of selecting a company to paint their entire home. Actually, it is a personal success to carefully research and interview five painting companies, and select the one which performed beyond my expectations and delivered a "house beautiful".
Keith Gerety and his entire staff performed at a level that every other contractor should be held up to. My home is a three story contemporary perched on a cliff hill top, a problem pointed out to e by every bidder. Gerety's team tackled the job with amazing ease and speed, coming fully staffed and fully supplied, and working from 8:30 am to past 6:00 pm every day of the project. The team worked as a fine tuned machine performing expertly at every stag of this project. They were unobtrusive, friendly, courteous and very clean.
Keith proved to be a team leader and hands on professional displaying true concern for doing the job right. All business matters were handled in a straight forward and honorable manner. His insights and recommendations, roved to be the key factors in achieving the desired results. Even though his high bid was not the lowest, the overall experience and results were worth the price.

We realize that the timing made it inconvenient for you since the paint had to be complete before the carpentry was finished and appreciate your coming back afterward to repaint the repaired area.

I would like to thank you for an exterior painting job well done. Your staff was courteous, careful and very clean. They arrived at 8:30 a.m. every morning and worked until 5:30 p.m. and beyond wile taking only one break for lunch. We have both extensive foundation plantings and they went out of their way to protect them during both the power wash and painting process. They also did an excellent job of hanging our shutters. All of the work that we discussed during our consultation was completed to our satisfaction as well as the additional items we tacked on later.
The final result looks beautiful and we have received many compliments from both family and friends. It was truly a professional job and although it cost more, the overall experience and results were well worth it. “It has been nothing but a pleasure working with you”
I wanted to write a letter of gratitude to you and your staff for the transformation of our home over the summer. As you know, we purchased a rather extraordinary 1850s Colonial home. Although replete with antique charm, the house was enshrouded in layers and layers of wallpaper, wall-to-wall carpet and peeling paint.
I hired your crew to revive this jewel; a job that included refinishing floors, removing wallpaper, sanding and repainting plaster walls, simple and complex carpentry, and repairing and replacing antique brass hardware. I knew from your reputation that the work would be of exceptional quality. What I had not anticipated was the professionalism, cleanliness, thoroughness, and speed with which the job was completed. We set a deadline and you meet it. Your men were courteous, considerate, and respectful of our privacy despite having to work around our living spaces. It was not uncommon for me to come home to the crew at the end of a long day and find them on hands and knees cleaning off the porch, dusting banisters and vacuuming carpets.
Your foreman, Gerardo, deserves a special mention as a remarkably conscientious and responsible leader. He sets a wonderful example for the rest of the men. Any last minute changes or requests were met with a smile, a sense of humor and a reassurance that the change would be no problem. He is a joy to work with.

“I couldn't be happier”
One of Keith Gerety's crews painted my house earlier this summer. As agreed upon in the contract, the crew sanded the outside of my home down to the wood (it was a mess!), bleached the house with a fungicide, put on a coat of primer, then two coats of exterior paint. Shutters were all replaced, and carpentry work was done on the thresholds of the front door and French doors. Keith also arranged for a roofer to come in and replace my lower roof; and a glass company to come in and replace the damaged picture window.
All work was done professionally and efficiently. The men on the painting crew worked hard, were courteous at all times, and cleaned up after everything was finished.
I couldn't be happier with the job that Gerety Painting did on my 76-year-old home, and I would unequivocally recommend them to anyone.—Jay H. Cassell |
